Knott's Merry Farm
Knott's Merry Farm runs from November 17, 2017 through January 7, 2018.
Many of you may be staying near Disneyland, and the trip to and
from KBF is a short one.
See this page for how to get there by bus.
If you are traveling to KBF from
further away, commuter traffic on weekdays will be significant,
but the
time saved inside the park will more than make up for any delay.
If you
do decide to go during the week, call (714) 220-5200
so you will know what entertainment will be offered on the day you
visit.
Get to the park early if you can.
You will still benefit
from being at the entrance before the park officially opens, which
is at 10 AM.
You may first go through the turnstiles earlier, around
9:40 or 9:45 in my experience.
Upon entering the park, guests are
limited to the front area before official park opening and may be allowed
to get in line for Ghostrider, but no other ride.
"Entrance to the Knott’s Christmas Crafts Village is free from November 27 - 30 and December 4 - 7.
Admission to the park is required all other days."
You can learn about the special entertainment on the Knott's Merry Farm page.
I've included a 2013 schedule below.
Lines were relatively short for the Bird Cage Theatre on Thanksgiving Day that year - seats were available at show time of
both performances I attended.
The plays are The Gifts of the Magi and A Christmas Carol.
The ice show is called Merry Christmas, Snoopy!.
Show times [for several weeks in advance] may be seen here.
More photos are on this page.
